The Renewal of Icho Ryokan

It took almost a year to renew Icho Ryokan. Our accommodation and facility ware not enough for Mina and her four siblings to make a living by themselves so I decided to renew. Also I want everyone to relax with the fresh air and the view from new bathroom at rooftop. You don’t need to be concerned about food because we have new kitchen here so you could enjoy cooking yourself.

If you stay here more than a month, it would be charged 50,000Rs per a month with breakfast and dinner.

Small room : 1,500Rs

Big room : 2,000Rs

Big room with bath and toilet : 2,500Rs

Dormitory : 800Rs

*Breakfast and Dinner : 800Rs ( when we serve the dish with meat or fish, its charged there will be a charge of 100Rs.

*Bathroom at the rooftop : 400Rs/per (you can use it at least 3 people)

*Tax : We add 15% for tax and 10% for service charge to the bill.

Access

It takes 1 hour from old bus park in Kathmandu to Sanga by the loacal bus (35Rs.) After getting off at Sanga, walk the slope toward Asaburi for 20 minutes, you will see Icho Ryokan with black gate.

By the way, if you ride a taxi from Kathmandu, it takes 30 minutes to Icho Ryokan (2,500Rs.)

A GUIDE FOR GUESTS

Welcome to Icho Ryokan and thank you for staying with us. Please make yourself at home and enjoy the superb view of the Himalayas.

* Please do not flush the toilet paper. Put the paper into the bucket.

* Please leave your shoes at the shoe rack and use slippers inside Icho Ryokan.

* All our rooms are smoke-free. You can smoke at your room’s terrace or the rooftop.

* Kindly inform us if you need hot water.

* You can get water from the water servers witch are located at every floors.

* You can use the kitchen, then please clean all dishes you used and place it back. Please pay attention for fire.

* In the kitchen please use the slippers.
